What forms/papers do I need to bring for my tax preparation?

Bringing the following forms will help ensure a swift and efficient tax preparation:

  • W2

  • Valid Photo ID ( driver's license, military ID, matrícula consular)

  • 1099 (individual

  • Social Security Card

  • Previous Tax records 

  • Receipts (Daycare bills, charitable contributions, etc.)

  • Profit and Loss Statements (for business's) 

  • Property Tax Statements; Interest Statements

Can I file my taxes during the government shutdown? 

Yes. The IRS is currently shutdown, but they have approved of emergency workers to help with the Tax filing season that will officially begin January 28th.
